Your Office, Your Terms!

Microsoft Office 365 & 85 Broads are teaming up to get our members "up the curve" on the benefits of working from a remote location and the technologies that enable it. Our multi-week campaign is titled Your Office, Your Terms! and will give our members the opportunity to learn how technology is making it easier to balance work and life from a remote location in a time-efficient, manageable way.

Our campaign will also contain a 10 minute survey created to gain better insight into how our members think and feel about working remotely. Please fill out the survey by October 23rd. In addition, there will be a wide ranging discussion on the paradigm shift taking place across all sectors of industry, which is in large part due to the new technologies that are taking the flex/remote world by storm.

We are delighted that several 85 Broads members will be blogging on the topic of working remotely throughout our campaign:

To further showcase how remote working technology can benefit women-owned and women-run businesses, six companies within the 85 Broads network have been chosen to receive a complete tech "makeover" for one year.

The companies are:

EmpowHER: an award-winning health media company for women

Mom Corps: a national staffing and search firm specializing in alternative working arrangements

Astia: a global nonprofit encouraging female entrepreneurship

Babesta: a children’s retail store and online shopping site

Right & Left: a creative consulting firm

Two Camel Films: a production company in based in L.A

Their stories will be featured on MyOffice365 over the coming months as well as through various social media channels. We hope you will follow their progress!

About 85 Broads

http://www.85broads.com

85 Broads is a global women's network whose mission is to generate exceptional professional and social value for its members through regional network events and online at 85Broads.com. Members invest their time, their intellect, and their financial capital in each other which is what makes 85 Broads so unique.

85 Broads was founded in 1997 as a network for current and former Goldman Sachs women who worked at 85 Broad Street, the firm's NYC headquarters, and at other GS offices worldwide. In 2000, at the urging of women at Harvard Business School, we expanded the network to include women who were students and alumnae of the world's leading graduate business schools, irrespective of chosen career path.

In 2004, we recognized the importance of further expanding the network to include women at the undergraduate level who were pursuing every career path imaginable. Over the next 3 years, we created campus clubs at 40 colleges in the US and abroad.

And in 2007, we extended membership in 85 Broads to all amazing, trailblazing women worldwide without regard to one's college or graduate school affiliation.

The women in 85 Broads are entrepreneurs, investment bankers, consultants, film makers, lawyers, educators, athletes, venture capitalists, portfolio managers, political leaders, philanthropists, doctors, engineers, artists, scientists, and renaissance women who work full-time at home.
